Shout Your Abortion activist pushing abortion on children with new book

The abortion activist creator of the Shout Your Abortion social media campaign knows no boundaries when it comes to pushing abortion propaganda, undertaking yet another effort to inject the abortion agenda into the minds of children.

Amelia Bonow would like elementary school children to that “Abortion is Everything,” hence the title of her new book targeting children ages five to eight.

Likening the killing of a baby in the womb as a “superpower,” Bonow attempts to twist the minds of young children by making abortion appear necessary and something that “shapes our destiny.”

The Shout Your Abortion social media page launched its campaign for the book on November 25, just in time for holiday shopping.

The colorfully illustrated book listing Rachel Kessler as co-author and Emily Nokes as illustrator seems to be available only through the Shout Your Abortion website and does not ship until late January 2026.

In one two-page spread from the book a tiger and its cub are shown on the page opposite the text which “explains” reproduction to young children couched in survival of the fittest language, and apparent groundwork for expected the deaths of some children through abortion.

Bonow notoriously organized a group of abortion activists who took chemical abortion pills while not pregnant in front of the U.S. Supreme Court during the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health hearing before the Court. She has also cheered the vandalism of pregnancy centers.

Bonow had teased the idea of a pro-abortion children’s book in 2019 when she met with children to share abortion propaganda in a video entitled, “Kids Meet Someone Who Has Had An Abortion.”

In the video she also dismisses children’s suggestions for adoption, implying the world does not need “all those babies,” and actively undermines another child’s Catholic beliefs about abortion as taking an innocent life.

Christa Brown, senior director of Medical Impact for pregnancy help network Heartbeat International, commented on the abortion indoctrination that Bonow is endeavoring to impose upon children with her new book.

“Normalizing abortion has always been a strategy of the abortion industry, and they've tried to do this with many deceptions,” Brown said. “It's healthcare,’ or ‘it's safer than Tylenol,’ ‘it's self-managed in your own home.’”

“The title of this children's book is a tragedy in and of itself because abortion is not ‘everything,’” Brown told Pregnancy Help News. “Rather, for most women, abortion is a traumatizing emotional, physical, and spiritual event they must work to overcome.”

Brown further noted that targeting children ages five to eight years of age in this way “is an all-time low, even for them.”

“Rather than sharing the innate value about the protection of human life, this book indoctrinates the minds of young children and persuades them that ending a life is normal and acceptable,” she said.

Sadly, this effort is not the first of its kind. In 2015 an eBook titled, “Sister Apple, Sister Pig,” was published by Mary Walling Blackburn, an assistant professor at Southern Methodist University. The book talks about parents explaining to their child that there had been a sibling prior to her existence, but “mama could not keep it,” and thus referred to the aborted child as a ghost. The author had boldly told a reporter she was “playing chicken with the anti-choice people.”

Toying with children’s minds and their understanding of things is an evil way to get one’s political point across. Brown said, adding that the attempt to instruct children “that ending a life is normal and acceptable” is abhorrent.

Additionally, the Bonow book fails to include medical truths about either reproduction or abortion.

“The book avoids medically accurate terms and the scientific fact that life begins at the moment of conception,” said Brown. “It also does not include information about the baby's life that ended during the abortion process.”

Ironically, she said, medically accurate books that introduce the value of preborn life to children are labeled as propaganda by the abortion industry.

“This book is further evidence that the Big Abortion is devoid of truth and desperate to share their lies with the most vulnerable,” Brown said.
