(The Lion) Texas Rep. Brandon Gill asked an abortion advocate to name her favorite abortion method at Tuesday’s House Judiciary Committee hearing on the FACE (Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances) Act.

The hearing took a deep dive into the Biden administration’s alleged weaponization of the FACE Act, which outlaws the harassment of people entering an abortion clinic or the blockading of a clinic’s entrance. It also protects religious services from disruptive protests.

“You’re an advocate for abortion, for abortion policy; what’s your favorite type of abortion?” Gill asked Jessica Waters, a law professor and abortion activist.

“Uh, I’m an advocate for patients having access to the full realm of reproductive health care,” she answered.

Gill listed several abortion methods along with the gruesome details of how babies are killed using each one.

“Do you prefer that method?” he asked Waters after each description.

“It’s uncomfortable to hear this, isn’t it? It is. I think it is because it’s barbaric and evil.”

Waters refused to answer the question and repeatedly asked for the conversation to focus on abortion policies.

“This is the subject of the hearing,” Gill argued. “This is about protests outside of abortion clinics, I’m asking you about abortion.”

Waters continued referring to abortion as “reproductive health care,” refusing to acknowledge the horrific detailed descriptions of how pre-born babies are killed with various forms of abortion.

SBA Pro-Life America reposted the video of Gill questioning Waters and said:

“Abortionists never want to talk about the details. God is in the details.”
